RisQuant Energy announced today that they had added Midwest ISO node WAUE to the markets they cover. WAUE is located on the Minnesota/South Dakota border. This node serves as the interface between Midwest ISO and the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA).
James Carson, Principal and CEO for RisQuant Energy, commented that WAUE is a commercially important node in the region. It has particular relevance to the emerging wind generation markets in the upper midwest states. He reiterated RisQuant Energy's mission to bring transparency to power markets throughout North America.
